Driveway Alarms can serve as Security Guards

You can't really be too careful these days nor can you be lax on guarding your home against robbers and thieves. One my relatives has been robbed of valuables like laptop, video camera, digital cameras and cell phones one night. An unidentified person sneaked inside their house and searched their cabinets for valuables. These are professionals thieves because they managed to come in and get out of the house without waking even a single person in that house.

The next day, they were surprised to see the cabinet doors and drawers opened. It also looked like somebody went through them. They found out later that most of their valuable things are missing.
They should have installed a driveway alarm or a wireless driveway alarm. The driveway alarms nowadays work even in a much longer range. It will deter criminals because it detects human or vehicle motion near any security-sensitive location like driveways, business entrances, garages, and barns. It will also report and alert you when it's happening.

When I buy my own house, I will sure put a driveway alarm. I don't want to give these criminals easy access to my house. I will also get a wireless doorbell, it will make any house look elegant.

5. "Thanks For Coming, Camiguin" 6. "Kamuning Get Me"

Thanks Elly!

Antwerp Fashion is a Must-See

Even though I'm a foodie and there are many places that I would like to visit because of the gastronomic delights that they offer, don't forget that I am also a woman. And as a woman, I am very interested in clothes, make-up, shoes and bags. In short, I am very interested in fashion. I would like to know what's in or what's out and what's the latest style this season.

I have heard that when it comes to upscale and trendy fashion Antwerp is the place to visit. Antwerp Fashion has gained reputation because of the combination of vintage and cutting-edge style. So if you're looking for what's hot and what's not, Antwerp will surely be your destination of choice. As for me, I'm more interested in Antwerp fashion so I could compare it with ours.

I'm still more interested in food..LOL! Although I've heard that food in valencia is similar to ours in the sense that they like rice and serve it often, I'm positive there's still a difference in taste, presentation and the flavors that it comes with. Restaurants in Valencia has been influenced by different cultures that it serves  a variety of international dishes. Those dishes have adapted to the Valencia flavors so it's more of fusion cuisines. That I've gotta try.

May kaaway ako kanina. So for further enlightenment, here are some points to ponder.

If you can prove it, di sige pasang-awa ako. O eh ano naman ngayon? This is real life and your grade in college doesn't count kahit na anong grade mo at kung may grade ka.
May grade ka ba? Wala.

a. Budhi?
b. Keps?
c. Utak?
d. All of the above

Ano kami tanga? Gugustuhin namin mangyari yon for fun?

I'm just making a point.
Ako ang shock absorber ni nanay. I'd rather let it out in a non-violent form than a morbid and violent one.

------♥♥♥-----

Yun lang.

Bow.

I, thank you .

Bow ulit.

Europe Tours is my First Choice

I am very fond of traveling. Whether it's just out of town or out of the country, I don't care. As long as I'm traveling, I'm happy. I love immersing myself in different food, culture and lifestyle. It's a vacation , adventure and a breather from everyday life.

There are many places that I want to see and, of course, to save myself some money I know I'm going to book travel packages to see them. The primary reason being travel packages are always cheaper that do-it-yourself travels.

So if money is not an object and I could choose three tour packages, these are my top picks:

My first choice is europe tours. I want to see France~ the French Riviera, the Eiffel Tower~ Germany, Switzerland, London and Spain.

The next tour that I want to get is alaska tours. I want to be able to experience the Alaskan scenery of glaciers and ice. I want to explore what Juneau and all the other cities has to offer it's visitors.

My third would be ireland tours. The cities in ireland are very rich in culture in history and I want to be able to immerse myself in that. Plus I love the accent of its people. I want to be able to experience castles, and farms and scones!

I also have three top picks for tours in the country but let me discuss it in another post.

This is so cute and funny!

New Kitchen Light Fixtures

Iam going to tell you a little secret.

You know how much I love taking food photos, right? I love it so much that I only take food photos during the day. Daylight brings out the true colors of the food.  In as much as I would like to take photos of the food that I prepare or dinner, I always think twice about it because I know that it wouldn't do the food any justice. Our kitchen is dim because it is old and needs repainting. We also need new kitchen light fixtures to illuminate our kitchen.

I know that if I take a picture of the food at night it would either be dark or blurry. I already talked to my sister with regards to getting new pendant light fixtures. I guess we still have to think about it thoroughly and evaluate if our budget can cut it. I guess a new kitchen pendant lighting wouldn't cost as much but if we changed the our kitchen's lights and have it repainted, the whole house would follow and we would need to do that to each and every room in the house. There would be a renovation.

I guess we'll have to stick with just changing the kitchen's lighting fixtures...

Yay! PR3 again!

Honestly, my day is not going so well today...

I'm sleepy and tired and in such a bad mood...

But then, I just received a GREAT news!

My two blogs: namely Blowing Peachkisses {this blog} and The Peach Kitchen
that went down a few weeks ago from PR3 to PR2 are now back to PR3 again!

Display Pagerank

and not only that, my new blog that is only a few weeks old is now PR0...

Weeeee..I feel like dancing!

Do you keep "extra" things in the house?

In a household made up of five children, in which two are four years old and one is a toddler, I always find the house in chaos. Two of the kids are always fighting but is the best of friends after an hour. There are lots of crying, laughing, and running around. Toys and clothes are everywhere. The remote controls are always missing and you won't find them wherever you look.

But you can't leave it like that so what I do is designate a place for them to play, so I can keep the house in order. I also keep an extra remote control just in case I don't find them. Actually, I keep a lot of extras in the house, extra food and snacks, extra shampoos and extra batteries. I even keep extra Laptop batteries so when our laptops run out, I could just replace them and charge the other batteries.

I think the only things that I couldn't keep an extra of is TV Parts. I sometimes find my youngest niece turning the TV off and on and I can feel that it's just a matter of time before it gets broken. Oh well, I guess I will have to call the TV repair guy if it comes to that.TV Parts. I sometimes find my youngest niece turning the TV off and on and I can feel that it's just a matter of time before it gets broken. Oh well, I guess I will have to call the TV repair guy if it comes to that.

I want a Sanuk Sandals

I want a Sanuk sandals.
Yup, closed sandals this time. I guess I'm tired of wearing flipflops and open sandals...

I Want to Eat in Amsterdam Restaurants

It is getting crazier here in our house everyday! I mean with a business and five kids to take care of, I'm getting  a little bit stressed and I'm missing the rest and relaxation I had when peanutbutter came home for a vacation. But that's one of the reason why I work hard. So I can experience things like vacation and travel.

I love traveling. I love immersing myself in different cultures. I love to experience their food, music, people and art. One of the places that I want to go is Amsterdam. Amsterdam is a beautiful city in the Netherlands that is known for its impressive architecture, canals and universities. Since I am a foodie at heart {and a food blogger at that}, the first thing I want to try or experience in when I go there is amsterdam restaurants. Food can tell a lot about a certain country.

I also want to see the art in Amsterdam. It is very seldom that I become interested in something as deep as art but since Amsterdam is known for impressive architecture which can also be considered as art, I figured I have to see the most beautiful piece of art Amsterdam has to offer their visitors.
After Amsterdam, it is Dubai I want to visit

Three Wishes

  • maging 36 hours ang isang araw...para isiksik ang duties and responsibilities of being a mommy and a 2nd nanay.

One Stop Shop for Gift Card Printing, Online Printing and Plastic Card Printing

I was very busy last week preparing for a wedding and a birthday celebration. Most of my time were occupied gathering details and preparing gifts. My gifts were easy to choose, I just bought it in the shopping mall. What took my precious time so long was the Gift Card Printing because there were a lot of choices. We also looked for somebody who would do the Online Printing of the invites and the Plastic Card Printing of the souvenir items. Not to mention that I have a special role on my cousin's wedding. I was one of the bridesmaids. There was even a dress fitting the day before the wedding. I love the color and the fabric. Luckily, even if the dress didn't fit well, Sis made it possible to fit me. I was flattered, the dress identified with my body shape despite eating anything edible in the kitchen, lol. It was a long but productive and exciting week.

Today, I've noticed my computer's desktop, bookmarks and favorites looks like a hurricane passed by because of the different websites, notes, drafts and tasks I stored on it. Good thing was I came across a one stop site for all my printing needs in case I need it again. So its time for me to clean up all of this mess.

High Quality Conference Calls

Communication has always been the key to everything. Education, relationships, businesses -- you name it. Everything will be dead, lost or forgotten if we don't communicate. In today's world, technology plays a big part in communication. There's e-mail, social media. telephone, cellphone and fax machines.

But sometimes an e-mail or a telephone call is not enough. If businesses wish to stay at the top of their games, they will need to communicate effectively with both their clients and employees. High-quality Conference calls is what they need to manage their communication quickly and effectively. Of course, not all companies can provide high-quality Audio conferencing. You will need to look for a company that can give you the ability to communicate with multiple parties at once, anytime of the day, at anywhere in the world.

Traditional conference calls are so out. Today's Audio conferencing uses highly sophisticated methods and tools to make sure that each party in the conference receives and transmit high voice quality no matter how near or far and no matter how large they are. It is worry-free as companies such as this provides a full-time operator. All of this at a very affordable price.

So I guess, it's time to learn the words "nice to do business with you" in multiple languages..

Tag-Bagyo

points that I have pondered today...
  • Well, first of all, ito ang first time na na-suspend ang klase ni Ykaie. This is the first time in a long time na binuksan ko ang TV para manood ng Umagang Kay Ganda  at alamin kung suspendido ang klase sa pre-school, elementarya at highschool.
Nakakaloka!

Good night!

    Umpisa na ulit ng diet..huhuhu {LOL!}

Ika nga ni ykaie "back to work mr. mommy..."

Well, marami kaming napuntahan.

I have my period pa naman noong time na yon so imagine-in mo na lang kung bakit ayoko ng naka-squat.

I had to show her how para lang ma-weewee sya.

China is famous for it's not so good toilet reputation davah?

    Summer Dresses for Children

It has been so hot the last few days. We've been experiencing 35° and 36°  temperature. My active three year old has been her usual self and is playing actively indoors and outdoors with her cousins. To keep her feeling fresh, I kept all her leggings, pants and t-Shirts. I make her wear summer girls dresses everyday. These dresses are not only pretty but it doesn't make her feel sweaty and hot the whole day.

It's fun to dress up little girls, they're like big versions of barbie dolls,LOL! Some of my favorite summer dresses comes from Tea Collection. Tea Collection started in 2002. They have fresh, distinctive designs inspired by travels  all over the world like traditional Korean patchwork or Brazilian street graffiti. magically, they transform these inspirations to wearable and chic children's clothing.

What's good about their products is that you can order it online. Just browse through the collection, pay for it online and they ship it to you. They even offer a ten percent (10%) on your first order.

If you want to see it personally, it is also available in specialty and department stores, including Nordstrom, Bloomingdales, Saks Fifth Avenue, and other children's boutiques in the U.S., Canada and Australia.

    My Aunt's Swimsuit

This is my Uncle Jose and my Aunt Raquel. It's just amusing that my aunt loves swimming in her pants..LOL! This is  at Sitio Lucia.
This was taken at Amana Waterpark....Notice she's also wearing pants, hee.

    ♥♥♥

This is it. The anti-social just officially turned social.

Well, it didn't happen overnight. I just woke-up one day and found myself interacting with a lot of people. Some of which I know and some are strangers which  I happen to interact with everyday through my blog.

Don't get me wrong. I love every second of it but I see some downsides. I tend to attract some really disturbed people...

    ..don't mind me..

..just thinking out loud in this bleak weather..

    What about the floor?

Remember the room renovation? Yup, it's starting. I'll be purchasing the air conditioner and soon they'll be making a hole in our bedroom wall for it. Then, they'll be closing the opening near the ceiling and repainting the room.

Now, I am thinking what more could I add to the renovation aside from Ykaie's new bed? The back of my mind is saying that a Laminate flooring install could be a good idea. Since, I might think about putting it a few months after the renovation. I'm worried about the expenses, though. I'm trying to make a calculation based on only my assumption of what each would cost.

I think that it would cost me more than what I'm ready to spend. Yikes!
And I'm trying to justify the cost to myself too. When was that room last renovated, anyway? I think I was still a child then. The paint today is peeling itself out on those walls and they're kinda dirty too. The floor needs more waxing and evidently, the rooms needs a lot of cleaning!

It's going to be a lot of work but I sure hope it's worth every drop of sweat. I can already see the outcome .

Bakit mo hina-hack ang Twitter account ko?

    Nakakaloka ka!
Linggong-linggo?
    At NOT ONCE but TWICE!

Haaaayyyy...

    Gold Bullions instead of Jewelries

I love gold in the form of earrings, necklaces, anklets or bracelets. Well, I think every woman does but the honestly, I never thought of it as a form of investment. I love it because it looks good on me or is a fashion statement.

Today, since the economy has been fluctuating, more and more people buy gold bullion and is making it into gold IRA. Gold has replaced money, if you're looking into wealth-preservation. Why? because government can't devalue gold and no politicians or central bankers that can mess with its value.

With this in mind, I'm now thinking of buying gold bullion instead of jewelries. It may become an advantage since I can't wear gold in the form of a bullion, I will attract less snatchers here in the country..LOL!

Seriously, this is one investment I am considering. If I buy bullion annually, I'm sure it will earn a lot more in the years to come.

    Weh..

    Nakakaloka naman tong nag-a-add sa akin sa FB..Kapangalan ni peanutbutter. {Oo, peanutbutter din ang pangalan nya..LOL!, syempre hindi..yung real name ang sinasabi ko...}

    Product E-mails

Lots of businesses has turn in on the world wide web or the internet to spread the word about their business and why not. The internet could reach out to more people than you could imagine. It could reach out the other side of the globe with just a click of a button. If you have a business and you made a website for it. Most probably you've utilized Social medias a means of creating a buzz about your business. There's facebook, twitter, plurk, stumbleupon and a lot more.

Different businesses have different tactics on how they reach out to their customers. Some used email marketing service. These are the emails that you receive from, say, medicines, clothes, make-up. Well, they do have some advantages, if you ask me. I have received an email about a product that I'm actually looking for at the mall which I couldn't find. With that one email, I found it and I wasn't even searching for it. All I had to do was click the website on the email and buy the item. That was really convenient and easy.

If only all the emails I receive are about products that I'm looking for or products that I need, That would make my life easier.

    Weekend Blog Follower Caravan #7

First time evah nitong blog ko na ito ko dito sa WBFC.

I hope this could gain as much friends as my other blogs.

Weekend Blog Follower Caravan is a simple online blogger-helping-blogger weekly meme. It was designed for bloggers to help each other.

    My two new blogs..

February is not over yet but I already have a lot to be thankful for this month. This month I was able to transfer my two blogs who has it's own domain to a self-hosted platform. I'm also very thankful that I was able to launch two more blogs this month. Although they still need some website polishing and a few personal touches here and there. I'm very proud and happy that they are already running.

The first blog is my travel blog ~The Wandering Peach. The Wandering Peach will talk about my travel and my family's travel. Now, I don't really get to travel a lot. In this blog I would want to share my past travels and some places I want to go to in the future. If I find a good deal, I will be sharing it here as well.

The second blog is my "mommy blog" ~ The Mommy Who never Sleeps. This blog talks about parenting, being a mommy and a wife. This will also serve as an album for my daughter, hee.

I just have to edit some things on the home page of the site plus a few polishing like a said and it will be ready to go. I'll have to re-write the About Me page and I guess some logo designing too. I need to think of a good, memorable and eye catching logo for both blogs.

I hope to see you guys on both blogs.. and THANK YOU for always dropping by...

    Chismosong drayber

kaloka si manong.. kailangan yata nya ng shoulder to cry on....

    The End.

Buying an A/C for our room

Can you feel that? It's getting hotter everyday! I can see Summer peeking just around the corner. My plans on room renovation includes having an air conditioner installed. So it's re-painting, buying a small bed for ykaie and throwing out some small furnitures that have been dust gatherers for years. And Yes, we don't have air conditioner in our room before. We survived on air coolers and an electric fan. Anyways, I'm thinking of buying just a one horsepower unit. I'm sure it will be enough for our small room. We've been usuing Samsung and Carrier at the shop and at this point I'm liking Samsung over Carrier unit. So I'll probably buy Samsung for our room as well.

I'm thinking of having the a/c installed first before the repainting. Or is it the other way around? And while I'm at it why don't I throw in some Home flooring installation too? LOL! As if I have a budget for that. I've always wanted a parquet or carpeted floors. It is so elegant looking! Well, that would be set on the side for now until I could set aside a budget for it.

I could smell shopping time sometime soon...

    I'm officially a cool mom

Ykaie and I often play with those bottled bubbles you can buy in the market or the mall. Yesterday was a very windy day. We had one of those big bottle of bubbles. Usually, what we do is I  hold the bubble wand and blow away because I can produce a lot more bubbles than ykaie. Then ykaie chases all the bubbles.

There was no need to blow bubbles yesterday, all I did was dip the wand in the bottle and hold it against the wind and it made lots and lots bubbles. When the kids in the neighborhood saw ykaie and I playing, they gathered to chase the flying bubbles and they were laughing while they do. After a few minutes, Ykaie told me she wanted to be in charge of the bubble-blowing so I gave her the bottle. She made just a few bubbles and the other kids were disappointed.

    They said: Ykaie, mommy mo na lang.. {ykaie, give it back to your mom..}

The kids enjoyed my company. We emptied that bottle of bubbles.

    I think I'm officially a "cool mom". {wink}

    • Gusto kong pumayat...pero alam kong mahihirapan ako dahil mahilig akong lumamon kumain. Very adventurous ako when it comes to food. Hala, tikim dyan, tikim dito na akala mo wala ng bukas kapag nakakita ng bago sa paningin.
    • Hindi ako nag-uunan kapag natutulog.Ewan ko ba kung bakit.Mas komportable lang yata ako pag ganun.
    • Mahilig ako sa Yakult on the rocks. Yakult na nasa basong puno ng yelo..hahaha

      Dental Business Cards

As you all know, my sister is a dentist. Many years ago, when she was still starting her practice I gave her dental business cards on one of her birthdays. I think dental business cards are a great way to spread your practice to everone you meet. But yo have to look for one that speaks what your business is and radiates reliability and expertise.

You have to look for someone who has lots of templates to choose from. Fully customizable templates is best because it can help you create really impressive business cards. You also have to choose a company that can deliver them just in case you are not able to pick it up.

If I remember it correctly, the dental business card that I gave my sister has a single tooth design. The tooth is smiling and the background is blue. She loved those cards and she still keeps a piece or two up to this day. I'm planning to give her another set this year as a present. I haven't made up my mind on the design, though. There are so may to choose from. So far, I'm looking to this nice smiling lips with sparkling white teeth as the design.

      What do you think?

      GT: Work Resolutions

Timing naman at Work Resolutions ang theme natin for this week.  Sandamakmak yata ang work resolutions ko this year pero syempre i-compress na lang natin sa dalawa dahil sigurado naman akong mahihirapan akong tuparin ang sandamakmak. Paano naman last year tinamad-tamad ako ng konti. So last year, burn-out mode ang drama ko.

Mga promos and updates!!

      an entry for .Happy Thursday!

      Si Leon Guerera...

Ay si Biker Girl pala...para sushal.
This is a new kiddie ride dyan sa may SM North EDSA. P35 for 5 mins at P60 for 10 mins.

THE VERDICT: Well, pinaka-like namin ang  Purefoods Chinese Style Luncheon Meat....

Real Pulpy Goodness Minus the Preservatives

I just drank a bottle of Minute Maid Pulpy. They say it’s got ‘no preservatives added’. Aw, c’mon…It’s bottled juice. Is that even possible? So I thought maybe... I'll drink some more Minute Maid Pulpy. I would enjoy this as much as I can since I know that it has no preservatives added.

I didn’t believe it the first time I heard it’s got no preservatives added.  So I read the ingredients (even the fine print) and everything checked out! It really has NO PRESERVATIVES ADDED!  That means it doesn’t have ingredients that may turn out to be allergens, or worse...carcinogens!  Whew! Now that’s healthy goodness that tastes so good, I... I'll buy more so my daughter and her cousins could enjoy it as well.
So okay, it’s got no preservatives added. That’s really good, right?  Not just because it doesn’t have those icky, harmful ingredients, but it also means... It's HEALTHY!!!

So far anyone who still has a hard time believing that Minute Maid has got no preservatives added - meaning it's THAT natural, it's almost like it's plucked straight from the tree, it's just as Mother Nature wanted your orange juice to be, it's got nothing but the good stuff yes, none of those potentially toxic stuff that can harm your brain, kidneys, heart; cause tumors aargh- the list of preservatives' bad effects just go on!!! Anyway, just to prove a point on just how good Minute Maid Pulpy is 'cause it's got NO PRESERVATIVES ADDED, I'm gonna drink it for the rest of my life! It's also a great drink this cold season because it has lots of Vitamin C.

Feels good to know about the real pulpy deal, right? C’mon show me a smile on the comment box, and you might win yourself a Really Pulpy Deal! (That’s a chance to win a Minute Maid gift pack simply by commenting. Sweet! C'mon you just might be picked as the lucky 'commentor'!)

      Love,

      New Year's Day 2011

djoraine, rome, kakai and ate irene
We had grilled seafood on for lunch on New Year's day. Everybody took turn in grilling the food.
It's kinda sad that not everyone made it, specially kuya and the kids but it was a fun day anyway. Lots of singing, laughing and eating!
Lunch was wonderful! Check out our food photos here.
It was singing time in the afternoon. I didn't sing. I have such a horrible voice.LOL!

We also watched some old videos of  family gatherings and laughed at old versions of ourselves. It was such a fun New year's day. Next year, I promise I'm gonna wear polka dots!

       July 2010
Naalala ko tuloy last year, may mga pagkakataon na nakatulog din sya habang naglalaro ng computer at habang nasa department store cart.
      May 2010
Eto pa ang isa, nakatulog ulit pagkatapos gumising...hahaha..

Saan-saan na naman kaya ito makakatulog this year???

      New Year's Eve 2011

me, Rome and my niece djoraine
Hello 2011. What a fun New Year's Eve we had.
Me, ykaie, my nephew kakai, my niece djoraine and Tita Becka
      We had sparklers........
      Tatay {my dad} and me
After the sparklers and all the laughters outside, we finally came inside to eat. This is our dinner table. Click here for the food close-up.
It was wine time after dinner. Truth is, I don't really drink I'm just learning how to appreciate wines and other drinks with alcohol. Cheers! The one we had was really sweet and has the flavor of mixed berries.
Then it was finally time for the after-dinner-kulitan.....Ykaie was tired by this time and wanted to sleep already so she wasn't able to join in the fun!
The Rome & Peach background pose.....hahahaha....permanenteng pose na ba ito?
I had a great New Year's eve celebration and hopefully, I'm starting it right with lots of energy, enthusiasm and love. Have a great 2011 everyone!
