New Eastern Garden Restaurant

To continue my story from here, sis and I went to a place where Chinese Lumpia or Popiah is a specialty. The New Eastern Garden Restaurant, Home of the Original Fresh Lumpia Since 1950.

 Chinese Lumpia- special/small (P35)

The Chinese Lumpia here is juicy and tasty! As in masarap, inuwian ko pa nga si peanutbutter♥. Kainis lang kasi we also wanted soup at the time and they don't have noodles with soup. They have noodles pero thick yung soup, kagaya ng sa Lomi.

 Lo- Misua (P70)

Eto namang si sis, sa kagustuhan ng soup ay umorder ng Lo-Misua. Pinaghalong Lomi at Misua. Ang weird. Sobrang lapot ng soup or sauce whatever you call it. As in super duper mega lapot, akala mo The Blob.
Akala ko nga magkakaron ng sariling buhay yung Lo-Misua at hahabulin kame. Gara.

Siguro, kung kakain kayo, iba na lang orderin nyo na soup/noodles. Sabi ko nga kay sis sana Hototay na lang in-order.

Doll Ride

I saw this very cool "kiddie ride" at the Sky Garden last weekend. Small carts pulled by little robot dolls. hahaha. I know it sounds creepy but its really cute. I just don't know how to describe it better.

I let my daughter took a ride. A 3-minute ride costs P30, a little expensive but what the heck?!

The ride was cute but it's a little bit hard to steer so peanutbutter♥ steers it for ykaie. After two minutes she doesn't want to ride anymore.

 Good thing I was able to take nice pictures...

I picked this up from the post office last Friday afternoon. It's the Rachel Ray Cookbook I won from Aggie's Kitchen! Yay!!

Perfect Weekend!

My weekend was made of these.....

smiles, laughs and merry-go-rounds...

Ykaie wanted to ride the merry-go-round when we treated daddy for his birthday last Saturday.Daddy went with her.

I had a wonderful time...

After meeting with my snack swap partner Jill last Sunday, my cousin Roman and I had some bonding moments with sis.

We met sis near the lagoon. She was the one who took pictures of Roman and me..... she's a little camera shy.

We did some silly poses and what fun!

Kusudama Origami

 

My good friend Rence is into Kusudama Origami nowadays. It's really amazing how she can do this for fun. I don't think I have the time, patience nor talent to do this.

"Kusudama is a decorative ball, which is originally used on festive occasions. It is now popular as ornaments and mobiles. Kusudama origami is composed of a variety of units joined together. It is different from ordinary unit origami, because it uses string or glue to put it together."

I love this shot of my niece who you think is always having a bad day.She's always frowning and it's really hard to make her smile.
