A glimpse of my Tuesday

I was wanting bacon and eggs for breakfast this morning.We have bacon. We have eggs. But what I don't have is the energy to cook kahit na nga prito lang.Paano naman,nagsara ako ng shop ng 12:30am. Nag-ayos ng mga botelya ni Ykaie. at ng akmang matutulog na ako ay sya namang gising ni Ykaie at gustong bumaba ng kama at maglaro.Susme!

Lahat na ginawa ko... pigilan sya, patayin ang ilaw at kung anu-ano pa. I was in half-trance. Di ko na namalayan kung paano lumipas ang gabi at naging alas-sais na ng umaga sa pagitan ng aking gising ngunit tulog na diwa.

 Naglagay na ako ng sign kanina,para naman alam ng aking mga minamahal na customers na sarado ang shop at may outing kami. Gusto nga nila sumama..hahahaha

They are growing up and having makeovers!

My daughter's current favorite cartoon is Dora the Explorer.Do-ya as she fondly calls her. Ang bilis-bilis nya lumaki..Parang kelan lang ay nakahiga pa sya sa duyan ngayon may favorite cartoon na sya.Well, kahit ako naman nung wala pa si Ykaie.I love watching Dora the Explorer at naisip ko na very educational sya at magandang ipapanood sa magiging baby ko.

 

But I heard they are changing Dora.They are making her grow up. I think tween girls who grew up with the preschool Dora will love the new Dora because she is more fashionable and she will handle new challenges.She will also have new adventures with her new friends.(naku,paano na si boots?).

 

Parents were concerned that the new Dora won't be a good role model for their toddlers anymore but I heard that preschool Dora is not going anywhere. So they don't have anything to worry about. Tween Dora is just an alternative for their daughters who are growing up and having new academic and environmental challenges of their own.

But wait, I also heard they are making Strawberry Shorcake grow up.I love her when I was a little girl.

 

Chubby little Strawberry Shortcake is being replaced by a tween Strawberry Shortcake who has a cellphone instead of Custard, the Calico cat. I think the new one is cute but I hope they are not really "replacing" her. I don't wanna say goodbye to the 2-3 year old Strawberry.

 

Hay pati Carebears♥ nag-undergo na rin ng makeover. They have less belly fat and longer eyelashes..(I-liposuction ba?). Love na love ko pa naman sila. Mas gusto ko yung dati nilang itsura kaysa sa bago.

I-compare nyo. Alin ang mas cute? Di ba yung old Carebears?

Top Ten Highschool Memories

 My top ten High School memories. Super taba ako when I graduated highschool. I had braces. I had a pet because I could still afford to take care of it.My favorite subject was Chemistry. (read: GEEK)

Lechon Kawali

The theme for today's Lasang Pinoy Sundays is : hip to be SQUARE

 

Is this square enough? Pagkatapos ng ulam naming Chicharong Bulaklak last Sunday ay eto naman ang ulam namin kahapon ng tanghali... makabagbag damdaming Lechon Kawali! Ito ang Liempo pagkatapos nyang pakuluan.Feeling ko square-ish sya.

  

At ito ang itsura ng Liempo pagkatapos nyang mailubog sa kumukulong mantika at maluto.Hay ang lutong ng balat...kaya lang ay "deadly" rin ito.

 

Pampabata ika nga nila. Paano raw ay hindi ka na tatanda kapag ito ang madalas mong kinakain,matitigok ka na agad..hehehe

Pinilit kong maging SQUARE ang pagkakahiwa sa Lechon Kawali para mailahok ko sa tema ngayong linggo. Mukha bang square?

Sunday Dinner

Grabe! ang dami kong nakain nung Linggo ng gabi pagkatapos ng Mini swimming party namin. Paano naman ang ulam ba naman namin ay Chicharong Bulaklak. Isawsaw sa sukang maanghang at sabayan ng kaning lamig. Aba,swak na swak.

Meron din kaming Chicharong Baga (pig's lungs).Dalawa pang flavor sweet and spicy....

....tsaka plain. Nakatikim na ba kayo nito?

Noong bata pa ako ay ubod ng hilig ako sa rubber shoes pero simula yata ng mauso ang sandals, flip flops at kung anu-ano pang katsinelasan ay hindi na nakaranas ang mga paa ko ng closed shoes o yung mga sapatos na sarado.

Minsan tuloy tinitibak na ang mga paa ko at sumisigaw na " Ipa-Foot Spa mo kameeeee! parang awa mo na!!!"

Lika,samahan nyo ako magpa-foot spa. Magandang araw ng huwebes mga ka-litratista!

Ano ba ito?

Buong araw na pagkainit-init pagkatapos ngayong gabi ay biglang uulan ng ganito?! Hindi naman sa nagrereklamo ako dahil, for the record, ay love na love ko po ang ulan.Ayoko kasi ng mainit na panahon at nasasarapan akong matulog ng bukas ang bintana habang ako ay naanggihan ng ulan kaya lang...... wala lang. Nako-confuse lang ako sa panahon...yun lang..

Weeeeee, magsu-swimming kami sa Batangas sa April 5-7 .Ngayon na lang ako ulit makakapag-swimming eh..I'm sooo excited! First time ko na isasara ang shop. Sila nanay naman at Tita Eva ayaw na magsara kami,gusto yata eh mag work to death na lang kami. Sus, yung nanay ko kasi eh workaholic. So feeling nya, lahat ng tao dapat ganun. Kapag magsasara ka ng hanapbuhay mo or hindi ka magta-trabaho in exchange of fun,kasalanan na yun -- kasalanang mortal!

Di bale malapit na naman ang mahal na araw. Magpepenitensya na lang ako...

Ho may gas! it's so hard..ang hirap talaga magpaka-tanging-ina! Nakakaloka na. Pakiramdam ko binugbog ako ng tatlong maskuladong bakla sa kanto.Ang sakeeeeeeeeeet ng aking likod! Susmarya! Panandalian kong kinalimutan ang aking diet at baka madali akong may-i-die kapag nag-diet pa ako sa lagay kong itoh.

Kung multitasker ako, ngayon para akong multitasker na adik dahil sa dami ng ginagawa ko.Ang mga ginagawa ko ngayong araw na ito: naglinis ng computer shop bago magbukas,nagbukas ng computer shop, naghuhugas ng mga feeding bottles ni Ykaie, nagpaligo kay Ykaie, nagpatulog kay Ykaie, nag-download at nag-install ng bagong labas na game, naglaba ng mga undies namin (dahil wala na po akong isusuot bukas, buti na lang at ipina-laundry ang ibang damit), suma-sideline pa ako minsan ng bantay kay Ykaie huh?, naglalaro ng Farm Mania, nanonood ng CSI Miami at sinusulat ang blog na ito AT LAHAT NG IYAN AY GINAGAWA KO O GINAWA KO HABANG NAGBABANTAY NG MALUPIT NAMING SHOP!

At mamaya syempre ako rin ang mgasasara nito dahil may pasok si peanutbutter♥. Haaaayy, ang sarap mabuhay.

and tomorrow? it starts all over again...Life owes me a good massage..

Li'l Swimming Party

AT ngayon ko lang ipo-post ang swimming party namin last Sunday..

 

We had two large inflatable pools. Marami kasi dapat ang mga kids na dadating...Hay, buti na nga lang at hindi rin nagsidatingan lahat dahil doon pa lang sa mga bata na present ay ngarag na ang beauty naming magkafatid! Ang mga nasa litrato sa taas ay ang aking mga pamangkin na si Shy, Chellie at pinsan na si Ate Thess at Joffrey.

Ang pinakamamahal kong Kuya at ang kanyang mga chikiting. Pumapayat ka na yata,kuya?

Si Lola Eva a.k.a. Kaka hala sige ang pagpapalusong kay Ykaie. Dapat ay magsu-swimming kaming mag-mommy kaya lang bigla akong nawalan ng helper sa computer shop kaya ang lola nyo, bantay ever at pa-watch watch na lang.

Pagod na at gutom na ang mga ate. Nagpapahinga at kumakain. "Shy, sabi ko sa'yo hubarin mo yang salbabida mo pag aahon ka...hekhek."

Si nongnang Roman di dala ang kanyang two-piece,di tuloy makapag-swimming.

Nag prepare si ate ng Chicken Tacos, Chorizo-Cheese Quesadillas at ang lola nyo ay gumawa ng mga dips para sa chips: Guacamole, Cheesy beef at Salsa 

Four Seasons Punch with diced apples ang aming panulak. Haayy,maiba-iba naman at si ate gusto na naman ng Fruit Salad Drink. Sus, parati na lang ito,minsan nakakasawa na.

Ykaie's new dalmatian swimsuit!She was sporting it last weekend when we had our mini pool party.

 

It took some coaxing before she rides this car but once she got in it was fun, fun, fun!!

She was really having fun with this inflatable car.

Weekends was busy.No helpers. 1year old toddler..AAARRRGGHH! I think I'm going mad!..Sorry,I was dead tired this weekend so I didn't have any chance to make a new scrap page and I'm lucky if I could somehow find a way to squeeze in a page today. I didn't wanna take a chance because I might miss posting today so what I have here is an old scrap page, instead.

The photos were taken at Puerto Galera back in November of 2006. (not really Summer but we were at the beach...) peanutbutter♥ was still a boyfriend here...
