Sapin-Sapin

Saw this while doing my pamamalengke (wet market shopping) and thought it would be nice for this week's theme, Tri Colore (3 colors).

The vendor said that this is sapin-Sapin but it tasted like kalamay...haha

Peachkins,
I was the other blogger who had "another sapin-sapin entry" as ces said. Haha! I took on the challenge of creating sapin-sapin myself, if only to know exactly how it is made, and to see if I would get good results. Did it in staggering steps so I did not really feel it as time-consuming (had some ingredients ready days prior to making the actual sapin-sapin batter).
I was very satisfied with the outcome. I found out it's not that daunting!
