Gold as an Investment

They say that now is not the time for investments but I quite disagree. If there is a time for investment, it is now and it is today but you have to invest in something that does not depreciate, like gold. The market of gold and gold coins never closes and is continuously trading daily. This only shows that this is the most liquid investment in the world.

As a woman, I love buying gold necklaces and gold earring. I have never thought of buying gold coin or gold buillon as an investment but since the price of gold has risen lots of times I'm thinking......why not? Right now, the price of a gold bullion coin is around $1000 and with the inflation and all, it will be worth a lot more in the years to come.

Nobody, nobody but you!

Nagising kami sa tugtog na Nobody ng Wondergirls. Si Ykaie, humalo na yata sa panaginip nya yung tugtog at tulog pa tumatango-tango na yung ulo sumasabay sa beat ng tugtog. Nakagisingan nya na yung ganon at nagyaya na lumabas.

Gustong-gusto nyang panoorin ag mga kapitbahay naming nag-aaerobics pag umaga. wala lang nai-share ko lang. Gusto nyo sumali?

Fruit Salad and Pumpkin Weekend

When I made the fruit salad a couple of days ago, Ykaie wanted to be a part of what I was doing which was taking a picture of it. What I did was I asked her to pose like she was going to eat it, and to my surprise, she obliged. She posed twice and did not eat the fruit on her spoon at all!

This was taken yesterday at the mall. We went out with my ILs and since its going to be Halloween soon there are lots of make-believe-pumpkin around the mall. Ykaie loved playing with them.

She even sat down on one of them.

mainit o malamig?

Kaninang tanghali ay may napanood akong isang portion sa ASAP. Kumakanta sina ZsaZsa Padilla, Toni Gonzaga,Sarah Geronimo at iba pa ala Wondergirls tapos biglang pumasok sina Piolo Pascual, Billy Crawford at Sam Milby.
Sa totoo lang ay matagal ko ng pinag-iisipan ito,noong araw pa. Pero dahil nga hindi na ako nakakanood ng TV ay nakalimutan ko na.

Ano kaya ang temperature sa Studio? Malamig o mainit? Kasi tuwing kakanta ang mga girls ay mukha silang init na init sa suot nila pero kapag nakita mo naman ang mga boys.........naka-t-shirt na, naka-jacket pa. Para bang kay lamig-lamig sa studio pero sabay lang silang kumakanta. Nakakalito diba?

So, naisip ko lang, kung malamig sa studio, siguradong nilamig na sila ZsaZsa Padilla and company...
kung mainit naman, siguradong pawis na pawis na sila Piolo...

Hay, wala lang..hehe..naglalabas lang ng mga walang kwentang bagay na bumabagabag sa aking mundo.......

Well, dahil ang topic ay favorite dress at wala akong favorite dress kaya wala akong mai-share. Kung nakita nyo man akong nag-dress in the past, nag-dress at magde-dress in the future, ito ay dahil napipilitan lang ako, tawag ng mahalagang okasyon o kaya dahil tinutukan nila ako ng baril at binantaang papatayin kapag di ako nagsuot ng dress.

Nung isang araw, nanood kami ng Ip Man dito sa shop.Kesehoda chinese with no english subtitles ay nagustuhan namin sya.Lalo na si  Ykaie, gustong-gusto ang action scenes. Favorite ko ang mga ganitong movies nung bata pa ako....



Naloloka na ako dito kay Rose! Namimili ng lilinisin! Pinagalitan ko nga kanina at sobrang imbyerna ako..naku,kulang sa pukpok!!

O, hindi na ako makakapag- elaborate at ang hirap mag-type ng isang kamay lang. Nandito si Ykaie sa shop at nanonood na naman ng Ip Man....

Ang hirap maghanap ng pipiktyuran sa bahay namin para sa tema natin ngayong linggo dahil sa totoo lang ay..............................hindi ako Masinop..ahahaha..joke lang, masinop naman ako --- paminsan-minsan.
Kasi naman ang hirap maging masinop kapag meron kang binabantayang hanapbuhay ng halos 24 oras at isang dalawang taong gulang na anak.

Effort to the max...As in...effort!! yang mga laruan/gamit na yan ay oras-oras ikinakalat at oras oras ding inililigpit. Suske, minsan ay nakakapagod na. Kaya habang hindi pa yan nakaayos ay tyempo naman ang pagkakakuha ko.

Uy, nakakahiya naman sa inyo nakita nyo ng magulo ang isang parte ng bahay namin....

Noong Linggo ay tumambling kaming magkapatid sa Divisoria para mamili ng kung anik-anik. Daming tao, akala mo hindi Linggo..... Ang dami ko sanang gusto piktyuran kaya lang eh bukod sa nuknukan ng init eh ang dami pa naming bitbit...........AS IN!

Meron na akong helper..Yehey!

Kahapon ay lumarga ako papuntang Quezon City para sunduin galing sa agency ang aking bagong helper. Yes, napilitan akong kumuha sa agency kasi kailangan ko na talaga. Sa susunod na buwan kasi uuwi na si tita eva papuntang Palawan at wala ng mag-aalaga kay Ykaie. Kailangan ko ng mauutus-utusan at mapapabantay sa shop. Syempre naman kailangan ko na sya ma-train ng kailangan nya gawin bago mangyari yon..

Dito kumukuha sila brother dear ng kanilang kasama sa bahay.Feeling ko ay okay din naman itong agency so I decided to try. P3,000 ang office fee to be paid upfront pagsundo sa helper.Plus P500 which is the salary deduction from the helper's first month salary. So, bale P3,500 ang una mong ibabayad. This P3,000 office fee guarantees the helper for 6 months after that its up to you and your helper.

What's nice about the agency is that they train the helper. Merong mga rules and regulations na kailangan nilang sundin. Tingnan nga natin kung madali syang i-train.

At dahil may dalawang nagre-request ng pictures ng rebonding moment ko kahapon..hahaha. joke..di lang ako makabuwelo kahapon kase ang sakit ng ulo ko. Eto na ang bagong itsura ng retokado kong buhok. Syempre uunahin ko muna ang "BEFORE" photos. O daba? ang taray, parang commercial lang....

At ito ang Halloween Costume ko...WITCH yan.... hahahahaha. Joke lang, yan ang BEFORE photo ko, in fairness na-blower pa yang lagay na yan. Tingnan mo nga at parlor pa ang background. Liitan na lang natin,huh? one of my pangit moments eh..ahahaha

Something for the Bedroom

I have been a Play Station girl ever since Play Station was released in the market but since the HD Graphics and the return of Xbox Live Service I'm leaning towards Xbox 360. Although it's not the same as PS3 or Wii, it has quality games and its lower-end packages are much more affordable than Sony's.

The X-box Marketplace even allows for downloads of movies and games over the internet and you can also play CDs and DVDs with the Xbox. Why am I talking about this? I'm buying a new TV and a DVD player for our bedroom and I think peanutbutter♥ will love that he can play games with the CD/DVD player I have my eyes on. We still have to talk about it,though and  look at the pros and cons of Xbox.

Good thing my favorite shopping site does not only provide everything and anything for sale on the web but I was suprised that it also provides product reviews too. This way you can think about the product you're going to buy and compare them with other brands as well.

If peanutbutter♥ and I agree on the Xbox, I will have to look at some Xbox games and Xbox accessories too. Might as well start looking now..

Oh-Ehm-Gee!! Nagmukha na naman akong tao after two long years and countless scheduling ay nakapagpa-REBOND din ako buhok. At last! Thanks to peanutbutter♥ of course, sa pag-sponsor ng pagpapaunat ng aking buhok at pagbabantay sa shop habang limang oras akong nire-rebond sa parlor.

Pearl Earrings

I've always thought of pearls as one of those very elegant jewelries and they make the wearer elegant as well. I used to have a pair of pearl earrings but one of the pair got lost during a family out of town trip.

Sakae Sushi

Sis and I had dinner at Sakae Sushi the other night. We were actually there for the Ramen but seeing the Sushi conveyor belt made us think twice about ordering Ramen.

Ykaie didn't want to be in the high chair and was very fascinated with the Sushi conveyor belt. It's her first time to see different types of sushi in motion..heehee

The price of the sushi that goes around depends on the color of the plate.....

...or you can opt for the all day Sushi Buffet for P399($8.50)!!

Ykaie was very excited when she knew it's time to get her first sushi. She was very eager to get her hands on anything in the conveyor belt.

Since Kani Sushi is on a Green Plate, it costs P79 ($1.60). Those are condiments right there, wasabi, soy sauce and pickled ginger.

Tamago Sushi on a Purple plate (P39/ $0.83)

California Maki on a Yellow Plate (P59/$1.25)

It was after those plates of Sushi when we got a chance to order.

Beef Kaminabe (P249)

Kaminabe is Japanese paper hot pot. I've always wanted to try this ever since I saw this on a food channel. I think it's cool to eat soup on paper that doesn't burn easily even if it has flame underneath.

This is good for two persons and is composed of vermicelli, thinly-sliced beef, lettuce, leeks, carrots, tofu and shiitake mushroom.

This is composed of a stick of yakitori,Fried Crab Sticks, Fried Rice, Tamago, Iced Tea and a free toy.

Katulad na lang nitong aking bulilit. Kahit na anong tawag mo ay sa fountain pa rin nakatingin. Aliw na aliw sya sa mga lumalabas na tubig mula sa mga butas na iyon.

Delicious Restaurant

Ang Delicious Restaurant ay isang lumang restaurant sa Sta. Cruz, Manila malapit sa Ongpin. They serve mostly chinese dishes. Itong restaurant na ito ay yung tipo ng restaurant na makikita mo sa mga 1980's movies. Dito kami nananghalian ni peanutbutter♥ kanina dahil
[1.] naglilihi sya sa Miki-Bihon Guisado; at
[2.] spontaneously ay niyaya ko sya sa Ongpin bago namin kunin ang bago namin printer.

Dito sa restaurant na ito yung tipong pag umorder ka ng sopdrinks ay makikita mo na kinakamay ng serbidora yung yelo galing sa cooler papunta sa baso.  Medyo may edad na yung ibang mga serbidora dito. Kanina nga si mother waitress habang kumukuha ng order nung isang mama sa kabilang table ay sarap na sarap na kumakain ng dalandan. Akala ko nga ay aalukin yung mama, hindi pala. Ang sasaya nila dito sa restoran na ito. Malaya nilang nagagawa ang gusto nila..hahahahaha

Mga sinaunang lalagyanan ng patis,toyo at paminta....hehehe. Pasensya muna sa mga pichures at celfone lang ang dala ko kanina.

Isfeysial Miki-Bihon Guisado (P80)

Kakaiba ang pancit na ito. Sila yata ang gumagawa nung mga meat-sausage-quekiam-fishcake na sahog na inilalagay nila sa ibabaw nito. Pero warning lang, bawal ang maselan dito dahil kapag nakita nyo ang mga cook nila? Nakow! Mga lalaking nakasando lang tapos naka-apron.Pawis na pawis sila dahil mainit sa kusina tapos para silang mga kontrabida sa mga lumang pelikula ni FPJ. Kukunan ko sana yung isa kanina kaya lang baka makita ako di na ako makalabas sa restoran..ahahaha.

Let's take a closer look. May squid.......at may......yung orange thingie na nakikita nyo ay hindi po carrots, isa iyon sa mga meat-sausage-quekiam-fishcake creations ng restaurant na itey. Okay rin naman ang lasa....may pagka-lasang intsik pero di gusto ni peanutbutter♥ at pinagtatabi nya sa gilid ng pinggan nya.

Okay naman ang lasa nito kaya nga lang ay medyo kalasa nya yung isa dun sa mga meat-sausage-quekiam-fishcake creations. Mas maa-appreciate ko siguro sya kung di nya kasabay yung pancit. Malay ba kasi namin na ganun yon?
