South Beach Pizza

Well, we eat lots of pizzas.Period.I found a great way to eat pizza while on the SBD.Thanks to What geeks eat,a food blog.I found the link from Kalyn's Kitchen. The use of chicken breast as pizza crust was pure genius!

INGREDIENTS of my version of the South Beach Pizza:
skinless chicken breasts
1/2 cup grated low fat mozzarella
1/2 medium white onion, sliced thiny
1/2 Bell Pepper sliced into strips
grated Parmesan cheese
Pizza sauce

Butterfly chicken breast at it’s thickest part in order to make it all the same thickness.Bake it until cooked.Place chicken in a tray.Spread pizza sauce on top.Add parmesan cheese, onions, bell pepper. Bake until cheese and toppings are bubbly and golden brown.

This taste soooo good.Sinawsaw pa nga namin to ni ate sa sour cream.Sa susunod na gumawa ako nito ay lalagyan ko na ng bonggang-bonggang ham and mushroom at patitikimin ko na rin si Alvin.

South Beach Beef Broccoli

Nagluto ako ng Beef Broccoli kagabi kaya lang dahil sa SBD (South Beach Diet) nga kami ni ate, syempre kailangan palitan yung ibang ingredients.

INGREDIENTS:
200g sirloin,cut into strips
2 small head of broccoli
3/4 c water
1/2 beef cube
soy sauce
artificial sweetener
1/2 onion,diced
5 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp canola oil

Fry 3 cloves garlic, set aside.Saute onion and garlic until onion is transparent.Add beef, stir fry it for a few seconds then add water, beef cubes, artificial sweetener and soy sauce.Simmer until beef is tender then add broccoli.Simmer until broccoli is cooked.Put into serving bowl and garnish with fried garlic.

Actually,tinantya-tantya ko lang yung sukat ng mga ingredients jan.dapat may oyster sauce itong luto na ito at dapat din na palaputin ng cornstarch ang sauce kaya lang bawal ang carbs.

grated Parmesan cheese for garnish
2 tbsp olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste

Saute garlic and onion in olive oil until onions are transparent.Add basil leaves and canned tomato.
Stir gently. Add chicken stock and bring to a boil.Scoop into serving bowls and garnish with grated parmesan cheese.Serve warm.
