Peanut Butter Company/ PB Co.

I am missing peanutbutter too much. I wanna eat everything with peanut butter. Good thing Peanut Butter Company opened up. This place is peanut butter heaven! I  highly recommended  this for peanut butter lovers or those who are just adventurous eaters out there!
The menu board [click to see larger image]
They offer everything with peanut butter whether sweet or savory. Pinoys are known to be peanut butter lovers but I think this is really a big move on their part to open up a restaurant that serves everything with peanut butter.
Roast Beef Sandwich [P185]
This is composed of cardamom peanut butter, roast beef and gravy. It tastes good but the bread is a little soggy from the gravy.
Classic Spaghetti [P135]
The classic spaghetti's sauce is Sun Dried Tomato Peanut Butter Meat sauce. I am surprised that the sun dried tomatoes and peanut butter went well together. I promised myself to try the other pasta dishes.
What's nicer is that aside from the local sodas, they also sell some of the imported soda flavors. Here's Ykaie, posing with my cherry 7up.
Imported Sodas [P45]
They also sell plain and different flavors of peanut butter for P180 - P220 which you can have a free taste before buying.*wink*
I'm definitely going back to try the Marshmallow Peanut Butter Sandwich, The PB Burger Sandwich and the Peanut Butter BLT Sandwich.

Experience CHOCOLATE HEAVEN

The latest cake from red Ribbon was launched yesterday evening --Chocoholics, rejoice! Chocolate Heaven is here and it's here to stay. This new cake is made up of four kinds of chocolate: chocolate brownie, chocolate mouse, chocolate icing and chocolate curls. What a sweet way to fire up the love month! *wink *wink
It is the most chocolate-full and yummy-full Red Ribbon cake! I think its a softer or lighter version of the Chocolate Walnut Fudge Cake last Christmas so if you missed it, better grab one of these.

Chocolate Heaven will be available in all Red Ribbon Stores starting February 07,2010 at P560.00 for Regular Size and P335.00 for Junior size.

Do you wanna see Red Ribbon's Valentine's Day Cake? Check it out here.

Teriyaki Boy

When peanutbutter met us at Rob Galleria the other day, we decided to have lunch at Teriyaki Boy. We're not really in the mood for Japanese, we were looking for a chicken dish for Ykaie. Chicken is her favorite dish right now-- Fried Chicken to be specific. We want her to appreciate other chicken dishes and not eat fried all the time.

Teriyaki Boy has the best Chicken Teriyaki.
Gyu Yakiniki Don [P275]
This is peanutbutter's order. The beef was thinly sliced and really tasty!
Teriyaki Boy Bento [P300]
I ordered the Teriyaki Boy Bento for me and Ykaie. It consists of Chicken Teriyaki, Rice,Kani Salad, Coffee Jelly, Iced Tea and....
....Miso Soup which Ykaie loved so much!
Here's a very playful Ykaie after the meal...
The very next day Sis and I went for some grocery shopping and guess what? She wanted to eat at Teriyaki Boy too! We had...
Crazy California Roll [P175]
This is California Roll with watermelon and lettuce..dipping sauce is kewpie mayo with soy sauce..
Chicken-Ebi Kiddie Meal [P175]
Kiddie Meal for Ykaie and me, the sis ordered the Ebi Tempura Bento.

Razon's of Guagua

Razon's started out in a store in Pampanga and now has a lot of branches here in Manila. They are known for their Pancit Luglug and Halo-Halo.

Halo-Halo (P73)
Their halo-halo is a simple mix of sweetened banana, shredded macapuno, sweetened beans, shaved ice, milk topped with creamy leche flan. Only few ingredients but not too sweet or overpowering. No wonder they are known for this.
Pancit LugLug- single (P73)
Another bestseller, their pancit luglug is very simple as well. Just red sauce, crumbled chicharon and egg slices. Plain pancit luglug at its best.
Sizzling Bulalo (P199)
This one caught my eye so I asked sis to order it. It is delicious but there's something lacking in its taste... I just can't pinpoint what it is.

The Old Spaghetti House (revisited)

 Iced Tea (P40)
I'll keep visiting The Old Spaghetti House over and over again for the delicious food and the homey atmosphere. So perfect for our almost weekly "lunch date".

Cream of Spinach Soup (P70)
very creamy soup....
Smoked Bavarian Sausage with Fetuccine Alfredo (P165)
The sausage has a very smoky flavor and the the pasta has the creamiest Alfredo sauce!
peanutbutter ordered Beef Salpicao (P175)

Racks

Racks was the "IT" restaurant back in college. This is where the sosyal people eat. I wasn't one of them, I think I was able to eat here once or twice back then..After that, lots of new restaurants started to come out and Racks slowly faded from the limelight. Now I think it's making a comeback with some newly built stores, one in SM North EDSA...

After a very tiresome afternoon...

Onion Brick (P140)
Sis wanted some onion rings but they were out of it so the waitress suggested this. It was supposed to be an appetizer but came in last so we were kind of full when it came.
I am not really a fan of Racks but when I saw this new store I know I would wanna give it a try. I didn't like it the first time, when peanutbutter and I ate here for lunch but I give second chances... So I told sis, this is where we're having lunch last wednesday.

Racks Baby Ribs, half slab (P300)
Served with Racks baked beans, corn bread, sweet country relish and your choice of one side dish.
Those ribs won't be complete without Racks original barbecue sauce...yumm!

Gravy Fries
We chose this as a side dish because Ykaie loves fries...

Carbonara (P148)
I was craving for some oh-so-creamy sauce and this hit the spot!

Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf Lunch

This is before sis, Ykaie and I went to the grocery last monday. I wanted to try this Camembert Cheesecake since I first heard about it and now is the chance. Sis is buying..lol!

Camembert Oreo Cheesecake Tart
Everyone was raving about it and it looked good in the pictures so I was drooling just thinking about it. I didn't know if they gave me an old cheesecake. It was too dry and chewy. I didn't like it. Cheesecake aren't suppose to be chewy, are they? I'll be giving this another chance though, I love cheesecake too much.
Honey Bran Muffin
A hi-fibre option perfect for health-conscious eaters, weight-watchers, and people on the go, without sacrificing texture (with its moist quality) and taste.Great tasting healthy muffin,so perfect with coffee!
Greek Salad
Mediterranean - style, with lemon vinaigrette and chunks of feta cheese.. This we all loved!
